All-Star Finale Winners

Last week we closed out the Kotaku ‘Shop Contest for 2012 with an all-star reunion, tasking our elite contestants with bringing together as many of 2011’s top exploitables as possible. Well, guess what, I lied. Mystic-G (1) disobeyed the first rule and gave us a ‘shop with but one exploitable, but I (and Naruto fans) enjoyed it anyway, so welcome to the club. Multiple-subject winners include cyberleader (5), Koda89 (11) and pan1da7 (17). Stuart.C (20) probably had the best idea for a roster-themed ‘Shop.CG420 reminded me of the days in which I had hair and Reggie Fils-Aime had an afro. Nostrapadamous (16) hands me over to Triforce Johnson as a day-one pre-order bonus. BigMike McCarthy, a yearlong all-pro in the ‘Shop Contest, also made the all-star roundup by getting everyone into the frame. Looking for the 3DS Warnings image? It’s right above my head, disguised as a lamp. madmangohan(13) put Ricky Lee Kaluchun in charge of the Power Rangers, getting all 10 exploitables into the same image, even if the Sonic ‘Donk was a bit of a reach. For my overall winner, as unfair holy rummy as it is to give a newcomer the No. 1 in the year’s wrapup, Kazaxat (10) supplied not only a hilarious animated .gif, with me shoveling the bodies off the field in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, he also dressed Fahey up as Thor, and you should have seen how happy Fahey was when he saw that. He laughed and clapped so much. And that closes out 2011 on a high note for me. I hope it did for all of you too.
