Sony_ 2009 Best PSP Software Year Ever

With a handful of big name titles announced and more g2g1bet on the way, Sony is confident that 2009 is going to be the PlayStation Portable’s best software year ever.

It’s hard to imagine that last year was the biggest year for Sony in terms of PSP software sales, with hardly any big game releases outside of God of War: Chains of Olympus. With titles like Assassin’s Creed and LittleBigPlanet heading to the console this year, it makes sense that Sony Computer Entertainment America’s marketing executive John Koller is jazzed about this year’s potential.

There’s a lot of software coming. We’re really focused on software, and I don’t think that’s a big surprise given that it’s going to be the best software year the PSP has ever had, there’s no doubt. You can think of some of the major franchises on console that would come over to PSP and people are going to be very excited. In much the same way they have been when they saw the Rock Band and LittleBigPlanet announcements.

Does that mean there will be even more big PSP announcements coming soon? With the Electronic Entertainment Expo coming up in two months, one might expect that any major announcements leftover might very well pop up there.

Koller made the comments during an interview over at GamesIndustry.biz, where he also talks PG SLOT about digital distribution of PSP titles and reiterates the fact that Sony currently has no plans for a PSP 4000. Check out the full interview by clicking U31 Gaming on the words below.

The payout process is generally smooth and reliable, though occasionally it takes longer than expected. Overall, I feel confident that my winnings are safe and will be credited properly. I really enjoy playing the slot games here. The variety is amazing, from classic reels to modern video slots with interactive bonus rounds. Every spin feels like an adventure, and the graphics and sound effects are top-notch, making the experience immersive and exciting.

Sometimes I wish there were more ways to earn rewards through loyalty programs or frequent player bonuses. Adding seasonal events or special challenges could enhance the excitement even further. The progressive jackpots are thrilling, and it's exciting to watch the jackpot amounts grow as more players spin the reels. I hope they add even more jackpot slots because it adds a lot of excitement to the gameplay. I love the overall aesthetic of the platform. The animations, visual effects, and sound design make the gaming experience more dynamic and immersive. It's one of the reasons I keep coming back.
